Ilta
Born in Jyväskylä, Finland, in 1996, Ilta has established herself in Finnish pop with a Finnish-language repertoire that blends ballads, contemporary pop and songwriting focused on relationships, doubt and self-assertion. She first reached a wider audience as a guest on Cheek's 'Sillat' in 2015, before signing with Warner Music Finland in 2016 and releasing her first solo tracks, including 'Koukkuun' in 2017. Trained at the Helsinki Pop & Jazz Conservatory, Ilta went on to develop a pop-song format anchored by a direct vocal delivery, with songs such as 'Naurettava', 'Taivas sylissäni' and 'Minne mä meen'. Her career continued on television with 'Tähdet, tähdet' in 2019 and later in the Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu in 2021 with 'Kelle mä soitan', which marked a phase of broader national visibility. Ilta's discography includes the albums Näitä hetkiä varten (2020), Mä oon vaan ihminen (2023) and Jokaisen hymyn takana (2026). In 2024 she also joined season 15 of 'Vain elämää', continuing a trajectory between mainstream pop stages and contemporary Finnish song.
