Charlotte Colace

Born in France and raised in Cuba, Charlotte Colace builds a path between contemporary soul, jazz and R&B, with a vocal writing that is flexible, warm and firmly rooted in the groove. Based in Berlin since 2018, she has integrated into the local scene through numerous concerts and collaborations, first as a backing vocalist and later on her own projects. She has performed alongside artists such as Omah Lay, Nick Hakim and Noah Slee and takes part in several ensembles and collectives, including A Song For You, Sorvina and Stella & The Longos — experiences that have shaped both a collective and personal approach to singing. On stage she now presents her songs with a seven-piece band, in a format combining a brass section, soul rhythms and live energy. Her universe explores emotional ties, loss, reconstruction and intimate displacements, delivered with a direct and precise interpretation. Between a soul heritage, jazz sensitivity and more contemporary accents, Charlotte Colace develops a music focused on the voice, the depth of arrangements and the flow between emotion and movement.
