LASTELLE

Rooted in the British post‑hardcore scene, LASTELLE crafts a sound in which melodic guitars, atmospheric builds and vocals that oscillate between fragility and tension combine with structures close to alternative rock and modern metal. Formed in September 2018 in England, the five‑piece has from the outset focused on lyrics addressing neurodivergence, grief, the difficulty of expressing emotions and, more broadly, what it means to live with inner discomfort. Lastelle released the EP “Harrow” (2018) that same year, refined their songwriting on “Delicate” (2021), where the balance between airy passages and heavier sections becomes clearer, and continued this approach on “Exist vol. i” (2024), which confirms the band’s move toward an introspective yet direct form of post‑hardcore. Active on the UK’s alternative stages and later abroad, Lastelle have shared bills with acts such as Holding Absence, Caskets and As Everything Unfolds, placing them within a new generation of British metal and alternative bands. The announcement of an appearance at Download Festival 2025 and the work on “Exist vol. ii” mark a new stage in Lastelle’s trajectory.
