Just Vox

Born in Belgium around a student housing co-op in Louvain-la-Neuve in 2020, Just Vox brings together several singers and an entirely vocal rhythm section in an a cappella format that blends pop, choral harmonies, beatbox and vocal bass lines. The project initially centers around Oriane, Véronique and other voices from varied musical backgrounds, before the arrival of beatboxer Big Ben and then Alec for the bass lines; Philippe joined the formation in early 2023, and Igor Messiaen, also active in beatboxing and jazz, joined the group in 2025. Just Vox develops a repertoire based on vocal arrangements, a sense of rhythm and stage writing designed for the collective, in an accessible register that moves between covers and short formats broadcast online. The group became known in Francophone Belgium through its concerts, notably at Ferme du Biéreau, then gained wider visibility in autumn 2024 with its appearance on La France a un incroyable talent. Alongside this exposure, Just Vox has multiplied on-stage collaborations, notably with Ben Mazué on several tour dates and festivals, while appearing at Belgian cultural events such as the Magritte du Cinéma, the Prix Maeterlinck, or Viva for Life.
