NZGÛL

Born and raised in Rotterdam, NZGÛL first developed a relationship with music through learning guitar and drums, before playing in a melodic metal band — an experience that left a lasting imprint on his sense of rhythm, tension-building and arrangement. This instrumental foundation led into electronic music, shifting toward melodic techno with a hard-techno edge, where the frontal impact of the kicks is combined with more emotional lines and dark atmospheres. NZGÛL is among those producers who worked behind the scenes before asserting a clearer solo identity, translating the intensity inherited from heavy music into a more direct club format. The NZGÛL project situates itself within a tense, nocturnal aesthetic at the crossroads of dense melodic techno and a harder register, while maintaining a clear focus on structure and dynamics. Across this trajectory, NZGÛL links rock and metal culture to an electronic writing crafted for the dancefloor.
