Danish singer and singer-songwriter based in Copenhagen, Katinka Bjerregaard has been developing since the mid-2010s a musical world where indie pop blends with a very present, narrative Danish songwriting. Leading the band Katinka, formed around a core of musicians from the local alternative scene, she first made her mark in Copenhagen’s small venues and clubs before appearing more widely on Danish stages. Alongside the band's activities, Katinka Bjerregaard has engaged in numerous occasional collaborations with other musicians from the Danish scene, reinforcing her roots in an indie network where experimental pop and more classic songwriting intersect.
