A.N.I.

Born in Berlin, A.N.I. first developed her relationship to music through classical piano studies before turning to electronic music during her audio engineering studies. Both behind the decks and in production, A.N.I. builds a world situated between techno, hard techno and hard trance, with attention to fast tempos, taut rhythms and a fluid movement across several electronic registers. Active on the Berlin club scene, she belongs to a milieu where the precision of the mix matters as much as the physical impact of the sound, favouring continuous, nervy and direct sets. Her trajectory links musical training, a technical approach and dancefloor practice in a format designed as comfortably for clubs as for festivals. A.N.I. is part of a generation of Berlin DJs and female producers who work a frontal yet readable aesthetic based on rhythmic energy, density and a selection oriented toward fast sounds.
