Crowe Boys
Based in New Orleans and native to Louisiana, brothers Ocie and Wes Crowe make up Crowe Boys, a duo that blends folk songwriting, Americana and country influences from their upbringing between Baton Rouge, Pride and Franklinton. After an early stint together in an indie punk band at the start of their careers in New Orleans, the musicians gradually refocused Crowe Boys on an acoustic format led by Ocie's guitar and Wes's mandolin, with introspective lyrics drawn from their family history, faith and the frequent moves of their childhood. The release of the single "Where Did I Go Wrong", highlighted by a video that went viral on social media, marked a turning point and led to the recording of a debut album with drummer and producer Andrew Campanelli (The Revivalists). Released in 2024, the album "Made to Wander" collects ten original Crowe Boys tracks, where folk ballads, Americana-leaning arrangements and touches of New Orleans music intersect around themes of resilience, doubt and the search for meaning. Signed later to Universal Music Group Nashville, the duo have since been performing across the United States while maintaining a deliberately stripped-back aesthetic focused on vocal harmonies and sibling energy.
