Wings of Steel

Based in Los Angeles, Wings of Steel continues the tradition of classic heavy metal with a melodic power metal edge, built around harmonized guitars, fast rhythms and a prominent high register vocal. Emerging in the early 2020s, the band first drew attention with the Wings of Steel EP in 2022, before expanding that approach on the 2023 album Gates of Twilight. They cultivate an aesthetic that evokes 1980s metal without being a mere pastiche, blending epic surges, crisp choruses and songwriting centered on guitar melodies.
