Carried by an intimate, narrative songwriting style, ISE has been developing from Belgium a singer‑songwriter project rooted in melodic indie rock, nourished by 90s sounds and by sparser voice‑and‑guitar or piano ballads. ISE builds her songs around personal stories, with a strong emphasis on lyrics and a dynamic that moves between electric passages and quieter moments, allowing her to perform equally well with a full band or solo on stage. In recent years ISE has played numerous club shows in Belgium and the Netherlands and established herself on festival stages such as Rock Werchter, Pukkelpop, Sziget and Best Kept Secret, as well as at international events like Traumzeit in Germany, the Belgian Beer Weekend and Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan. This steady live activity has led ISE to play selected support slots for international artists such as Hozier in Brussels, Fantastic Negrito in London and Paris, and Gavin DeGraw in Amsterdam, gradually placing her within a European network that blends indie rock, alternative pop and acoustic songwriting.
