Oskar Haag

Born in 2005 in Klagenfurt am Wörthersee, Austria, Oskar Haag develops early on an intimate pop writing carried by a flexible voice and arrangements that cross indie pop, light folk and melodic songwriting. Discovered in adolescence, he makes a mark in 2021 with the track "Stargazing", then quickly appears on the Austrian scene, notably after a stint at Vienna's Popfest in the same year. Later settling in Vienna, Haag consolidates this initial momentum with a series of singles such as "Black Dress", "The Summer We Need", "Lady Sun and Mister Moon" and "Love Me for Tonight", before the release of his first album Teenage Lullabies in 2023. His universe rests on direct, often delicate songs, where acoustic pop dialogues with a more expansive production without losing the personal tone of the writing. Parallel to music, Haag pursues an acting career, with theatre appearances, notably at the Burgtheater in Vienna, and in cinema. This dual activity nourishes a stage presence already established, between a sense of interpretation and a taste for sober pop forms, lyrical without excess.
