Storm Orchestra

Storm Orchestra is a French alternative rock trio made up of Maxime Goudard (vocals, guitar), Adrien Richard (bass, keyboards, backing vocals) and Loïc Fouquet (drums). The members met while studying sound engineering and established the lineup in 2019. Positioned on the independent rock scene, Storm Orchestra crafts a sound that blends metallic riffs, a dense rhythm section and direct vocal melodies, drawing on British indie rock and 2000s alternative rock. After a self-titled EP in 2020, the band released singles and played medium-sized venues, developing a repertoire that alternates between upfront tracks and more atmospheric passages. Their lyrics address humanist themes, equality, environmental issues and the role of social protest, with attention to the relationship between sonic energy and message. In 2023 the trio released its debut album What a Time to Be Alive and signed with Mascot Records, marking a new phase in the distribution of their music. Storm Orchestra is now preparing the album Get Better, announced for spring 2025, mixed by Adrian Bushby, produced by Bert Poncet and mastered by George Perks, continuing an aesthetic of modern rock that is both heavy and melodic.
