Split between Paris and Rouen, Violet Indigo develops a Franco‑American project at the crossroads of pop, hip‑hop and electronic music. Singer, songwriter, producer and DJ, Violet Indigo creates tracks that blend breakbeat, jungle, nu‑soul and hyperpop textures, with vocal writing that moves from singing to phrasing closer to spoken word or rap. Her aesthetic is based on blending rather than belonging to a single genre, featuring syncopated rhythms, tempo breaks and a clear taste for contrasts between pop melodies and fragmented production. On stage, Violet Indigo presents this approach solo, combining voice and turntables in a form that draws as much from pop live as from club sets. The Violet Indigo project has established itself around music conceived as a hybrid space, attentive to identities, the circulation between styles and a form of generational decompartmentalization.
