Corlyx

Corlyx is a darkwave project born in Los Angeles in the mid-2010s, centered on singer-producer Caitlin Stokes and musician Brandon Ashley, who handles guitar, bass and programming. The duo initially combined dark electro-pop with industrial rock, then gradually emphasized cold wave, post-punk and EBM influences, focusing on synthetic textures, mechanical rhythms and melodic vocals often addressing introspective themes. After relocating to Europe, between Berlin and the south coast of England, the group integrated into goth and electronic scenes, playing numerous club shows and specialized festivals. Their discography opens with Music 2F2 (2015), followed by Ice Cream Nation (2017) and In2 the Skin (2019), before Together Apart (2021), released on Berlin’s Out of Line Music, which confirmed a stronger tilt toward darkwave and dense synthetic atmospheres. Since then Corlyx has alternated single releases, remixes for other acts in the industrial sphere, and regular tours across the UK and continental Europe, performing as a duo or with additional live musicians.
