Tony Njoku

Based in London and of British-Nigerian heritage, Tony Njoku develops music at the crossroads of experimental song, ambient, modern classical and a fluidly contoured hip-hop. A songwriter, singer and multi-instrumentalist, he composes pieces where falsetto voice, electronic textures, repetitive motifs and orchestrally-tinged arrangements meet, in a format that remains open between pop, contemporary composition and sonic abstraction. His trajectory is rooted in the London experimental scene, with a writing approach that stages a dialogue between direct emotion and formal construction. In 2025 Tony Njoku released All Our Knives Are Always Sharp, a collaborative album featuring the likes of Tricky, Gaika, Ghostpoet, Coby Sey, James Massiah and Space Afrika, marking a new step in the collective scope of his work. Across this record and his earlier productions he explores hybrid forms—between rhythmic tension, ambient atmosphere and introspective singing—favoring an aesthetic that blurs the boundaries between electronic music, experimental R&B and contemporary art music.
