Dwayne Gretzky

Originally from Toronto, Canada, Dwayne Gretzky is a rock and pop collective that brings together a large core of musicians on stage around a repertoire of covers spanning several decades of popular music. The group first made its mark in the city’s venues in the early 2010s by reinterpreting emblematic songs from the 1960s to the present, before gradually expanding its activity to tours and festivals across Canada. Dwayne Gretzky emphasizes collective arrangements, multiple vocal harmonies and a group energy that prioritizes ensemble playing, whether in clubs, on large outdoor stages or at themed concerts. In 2019 the collective released a self-titled debut studio album, "Dwayne Gretzky", which presents recorded versions of tracks already tested on stage. The group has also developed an online presence with live-recorded performances, extending the Dwayne Gretzky identity beyond the strictly concert format.
