Yächtley Crëw

Formed in Los Angeles in 2017, Yächtley Crëw revisits the American yacht rock repertoire in a seven-piece live format, with vocal harmonies, guitars, keyboards, a rhythm section and saxophone. Their sound draws on 1970s and 1980s soft rock and West Coast pop, with arrangements that extend the smooth, melodic and highly produced aesthetic of that era. Initially active on the Californian scene, Yächtley Crëw expanded nationally from 2021 and held several residencies at the Palms in Las Vegas. The band has also occasionally shared the stage with artists directly associated with this repertoire, such as Elliot Lurie of Looking Glass and Peter Beckett of Player. In 2022 Yächtley Crëw signed with Mailboat Records, the label founded by Jimmy Buffett, and in 2023 released their debut album, Seas the Day, produced and mixed by Chris Lord‑Alge. After joining Earache Records in 2024, Yächtley Crëw released the Christmas mini‑album Seas and Greetings the same year and appears in the HBO documentary Yacht Rock: A Dockumentary.
