JakoJako

Under the name JakoJako, Sibel Jacqueline Koçer has developed in Berlin a practice at the intersection of hypnotic techno, ambient and experimental electronics attentive to textures and slow movements. The Turkish-German artist, DJ, composer and producer emerged from Berlin's club ecosystem before becoming a Berghain resident, while releasing on labels such as Leisure System, Mute and NovaMute. JakoJako's music alternates between immersive pieces, repetitive constructions and more tense club-oriented sequences, with a language that remains readable even in its most abstract forms. She also appears on compilations associated with BPitch Control, Tresor and Figure, and regularly expands her work into other formats. Highlights of her discography include the collaboration In Vere with Rødhåd in 2022, and the albums Metamorphose (2022) and Tết 41 (2025). JakoJako has also produced remixes for Martin Gore and New Order.
