Evil Grimace

Active on the French scene since the 2010s, Evil Grimace blends gabber, hardcore and the imagery of French rap into a register he calls “frapcore.” As a DJ and producer he works with a very frontal sound: fast Rotterdam-style kicks, melodic loops, sampled voices and references to rap from the 1990s and 2000s, all arranged in a format designed for the club.
