Stain the Canvas

Born in Milan, Italy, Stain The Canvas develops a contemporary metalcore that blends post-hardcore, nu metal influences and touches of trap, driven by a mix of screamed vocals, pronounced melodic lines and catchy choruses. The band emerged in the late 2010s with a series of singles that gradually established Stain The Canvas on the European alternative scene, and in 2020 released their debut album God Made Hell, which defined an identity of massive guitars, choppy rhythms and dark atmospheres supported by a highly electronic production. In 2022, Stain The Canvas continued this evolution with All Fine / Enemies, an album that accentuates the contrast between aggressive passages and more pop-oriented openings while incorporating more electronic sounds and structures closer to urban music. Active on club and festival stages, including tours across Europe and the United Kingdom, Stain The Canvas belongs to a generation of bands seeking to hybridize metalcore, digital culture and emo aesthetics, with particular attention to visuals and the narrative dimension of their videos and lyrics.
