Tim Reaper

Under the name Tim Reaper, Ed Alloh has been developing in London a very direct interpretation of jungle, informed by the legacy of British breakbeat hardcore, deep bass, fast fragmented rhythms and rave textures inherited from the 1990s. A producer and DJ active since the 2010s, Tim Reaper emerged on the club and underground circuit through a series of releases and promotional work around Future Retro London, originally conceived as a party before becoming a label. His trajectory has accompanied the return of jungle to the forefront at the turn of the 2020s, with an approach that combines the genre’s memory with contemporary composition rather than mere reconstruction. In both his productions and his sets, Tim Reaper favors sustained rhythmic tension, a strong sense of movement and a constant connection to the dancefloor. He has appeared across British, European and North American stages and also performed in Asia — notably in Osaka, Seoul and Singapore in 2023 — working within a range that links jungle, drum and bass and bass music.
