Foxtide

Born in Southern California, Foxtide brings together Elijah Gibbins-Croft, Oey James, and Ian Robles around a trio format shaped by garage jam sessions, the proximity to the ocean, and the local DIY scene. The band began releasing music in 2019 and develops a sound that crosses indie rock, alternative rock, and pop rock, with clear or edgy guitars, melodic refrains, and songwriting marked by the energy of live shows. Foxtide gains visibility with the Visions EP, released in 2021, then continues this trajectory with Paradise, whose deluxe version is released subsequently. In its tracks, Foxtide blends a 2000s rock sensibility with more direct structures borrowed from contemporary pop, without leaving an aesthetic of a band that is played, taut, and immediate. On stage, the trio has shared the bill with The Backseat Lovers, Echo & the Bunnymen, Lime Cordiale, Sarah and the Sundays, Mustard Service or Beach Goons, and has performed at festivals such as Shabang and Nothing Fest. More recently, Foxtide signed with Position Music and is preparing a second studio album.
