Vitess

Based in Paris, Vitess develops a project centered on taut, percussive house, nourished by a background as a drummer that is evident in both his productions and live performances. His writing favors movement, with clean rhythms, a warm groove and progressive structures that navigate between house, tech house and more retro textures. Through releases on labels such as Up The Stuss, Homegrxwn, Locus and Bass Jamz, Vitess has established himself on the French and then European club circuits, alongside stage work that occupies an important place in his trajectory. He also evolves his music under several aliases, used to extend different aesthetic directions without breaking a strongly marked rhythmic identity. In 2022, Vitess launched the label Retro Futura and released the album Cyber Zone there, a milestone that formalizes an approach conceived for both the dancefloor and live performance. For Vitess, the pursuit of relief, cadence and efficiency remains central to a precise, physical and readable electronic music.
