Emerging in France around the turn of the 2020s, Dov'è Liana performs as a trio with an identity built between French pop culture and Italian imagery. The project draws on house, italo disco and synth-pop to craft melodic dance music rooted in the club but propelled by direct choruses and concise pop songwriting. Palermo occupies a central place in this universe, both as a setting and a source of inspiration, reflected in several tracks and the regular use of Italian. Dov'è Liana initially grew through a series of singles and live shows, touring clubs, venues and festivals in France and Italy, with tracks such as «Perché piangi Palermo?», «Ecco la Notte», «Tutte le Donne» and «Summer of Love». Through these releases, Dov'è Liana has refined a formula where electronic pulse, pop melodies and Italian references coexist without being limited to a single register, in a format conceived for listening as much as for the stage.
