On June 26, 2027, Madness land at Cannock Chase Forest in Rugeley for a set built around the Camden band’s signature blend of British ska, pop and new wave. Expect tight rhythms, bright brass lines and those punchy, street-level choruses that made their late-70s and early-80s run so distinctive, from One Step Beyond… through Absolutely, 7 and The Rise & Fall. Decades on, they’re still a proper live band, switching between classic singalongs and later material that leans into a more melodic pop touch, without losing that North London snap.
Also on the bill, Scouting For Girls bring their piano-led pop rock to the forest. Since breaking through in the late 2000s, the London trio have sharpened a direct, chorus-first style: upbeat grooves, crisp hooks and lyrics that stick to everyday relationships and nostalgic snapshots. With tracks drawn from their run of albums from Scouting For Girls to Everybody Wants to Be on TV and beyond, it’s a warm-up designed for big, easy-to-join-in refrains.
