On November 20, 2026, Cardinals land at Button Factory in Dublin with their alternative rock shot through with shoegaze haze and a stubborn post-punk backbone. Coming out of a fishing village near Cork, the quintet built its early momentum on tight, nervy guitars, then opened the frame to something more melancholic and melodic, where gothic shades, rough-edged Britpop turns, flashes of hip-hop cadence and bits of Irish folk can all pop up without breaking the flow.
What makes their set stand out is the way they keep things direct while letting the songs stretch out and breathe, shifting between tension and release. And there’s that signature touch in their lineup: an accordion that cuts through the guitars and gives the band a colour you don’t hear every night in the current Irish scene. Expect a show that moves fast, hits hard, and still leaves room for nuance.
