Info
Christopher Cross brings his melodic soft rock to The London Palladium in London on 13 May 2026. The Texan singer-songwriter came to prominence at the turn of the 1980s with smooth west coast pop, relaxed grooves and clean guitar lines. On stage, he leans into clear arrangements, close harmonies and a measured delivery that suits his voice. The set draws from early hits like Ride Like the Wind and Sailing, touches on Arthur’s Theme, and folds in later work from albums such as Doctor Faith, Secret Ladder and Take Me As I Am, giving space to ballads and mid‑tempo tracks shaped for a live band.
Chris Difford joins the bill with the sharp, everyday storytelling that first defined Squeeze. Co-writer of Cool for Cats, Up the Junction and Tempted, he appears in a more acoustic frame, revisiting that catalogue alongside solo material. His writing favours detail, small dramas and dry humour, carried by spare arrangements and a conversational tone. Together, the evening moves from California‑tinged pop to London street scenes, anchored by craft, melody and songs built to stay with you after the show.
