Jacob Collier - The Light For Days Tour

On 15 September 2026 Jacob Collier will perform with The Light For Days Tour at Koninklijk Theater Carré in Amsterdam. The London-based multi-instrumentalist and singer first gained attention in the early 2010s with online videos in which he layered his voice and instruments. He carries that approach into his live shows: tightly woven harmonies, rhythmic twists and the interplay between choir-like voices, keyboards, bass and percussion form the core. Collier moves between jazz, pop, R&B and choral music, building songs layer by layer while leaving room for collective vocal structures.

After In My Room (2016) he expanded his sonic world in the four-part Djesse project (2018–2024), ranging from chamber-music-like atmospheres to electronically tinged pop and song-oriented forms. On stage that palette returns in a set that shifts between compact and expansive, where chordal richness and polyphony set the direction. The Light For Days Tour brings that approach into the hall: arrangements that unfold, moments when voices stack like a choir, and tracks that probe the boundary between improvisation and pop melody.
