Info
On June 27, 2027, Kool & The Gang return to light up Paris's Zénith with their signature blend of funk, R&B and jazzy touches that has traversed decades without losing its groove. Born in the late 1960s around Robert 'Kool' Bell, the collective learned to make people dance as much as to play tight, with brass blasting, elastic basslines and rhythms tailored for the live stage. The concert promises a journey through their different periods: the more instrumental energy of their early days, the vocally driven R&B pivot that propelled them in the late 1970s, and that craft for hooks and arrangements that has made their tracks into classics that are repeatedly sampled and covered. Expect to hear signature tracks such as Celebration, Jungle Boogie, Summer Madness, Cherish, or Open Sesame, carried by a live show honed by years of touring.
