Info
On January 19, 2027, U.D.O. lands at the Bataclan for a show that smells of old-school German heavy metal: straightforward riffs, a massive sound, and Udo Dirkschneider’s raspy voice, recognizable from miles away since his split from Accept. Onstage, the band lays out a no-nonsense formula, mixing brutally heavy mid-tempo sections, sharper accelerations, and choruses that go straight to the point. Born in Solingen in the late 1980s, U.D.O. has ridden through strong periods and comebacks without ever letting go of the touring circuit. From Animal House and Faceless World to newer albums like Game Over (2021) and Touchdown (2023), the repertoire includes tracks built for live performance. With a tight-knit team around Dirkschneider, notably Peter Baltes on bass since 2023, the concert promises a solid set, designed for fans of classic metal who like it hard and direct.
