Info

Three faces of modern metal will meet at the Bataclan, Paris 11th arrondissement, on 4 December 2026: Eluveitie, Pain and Wolfheart.

Founded in 2002 by Chrigel Glanzmann, Eluveitie blends melodic death metal with Celtic traditions, combining guttural vocals, clear timbres and an arsenal of traditional instruments — violin, flutes, bagpipes and hurdy-gurdy. From measured beginnings with Vên (2004) to landmarks such as Slania, Everything Remains (As It Never Was), Helvetios and Origins, the band has also explored acoustic facets with Evocation I – The Arcane Dominion and Evocation II – Pantheon. After the singles Aidus and Exile of the Gods in 2022, ÀNV, released in April 2025, continues the cycle opened by Ategnatos. On stage, the lineup has evolved, with the arrival of Lea‑Sophie Fischer on violin in 2024.

Born in Sweden around Peter Tägtgren, Pain crosses industrial metal with electronic textures and immediate, hook-driven choruses. From the self-titled debut to Rebirth, Nothing Remains the Same, Dancing with the Dead and up to Coming Home, the project unfolds songwriting in which massive guitars and programmed elements respond to one another, shaped by Tägtgren’s touch as a producer.

Initiated by Tuomas Saukkonen, the Finnish formation Wolfheart moves between melodic death metal and doom and black hues, with atmospheres strongly marked by the North. From Winterborn to Shadow World, Tyhjyys, Constellation of the Black Light, and then Wolves of Karelia and King of the North, the band refines a balance between rhythmic power and melancholy.
