Pierre-Emmanuel Barré « Come-Back »

Pierre-Emmanuel Barré returns to the Bataclan in Paris on May 14, 2026 with Come-Back, a solo that projects to 2031: him, officially a has‑been. To try to take back control, he builds a new show and asks the awkward question: what to say, and how to still surprise in an era saturated with punchlines, outrage and nonstop absurdity. On stage, he dissects his own trajectory, dismantles the mechanisms of showbiz, embraces doubt and turns the foretold shipwreck into raw material. Between self-criticism and satire, he mixes text, images, sound and stage tinkering, like a construction site live on stage. He questions the role of the comic when everything speeds up, gets recycled and eventually becomes dated, putting himself at the center not to shine but to scrutinize the set with precision and a mildly acidic irony. Come-Back does not promise a solution, only a lucid, unapologetic return—because he doesn’t know how to do anything else.
