Laurent Gerra takes up residence at the Pin Galant in Mérignac on 28 May 2026 with a new show, Laurent Gerra Takes a Seat at the Table. An impersonator and writer, he serves up a menu all his own: sharp portraits of political figures, nods to French chanson, to television panels and to cinema icons. For more than thirty years he has been observing the tics, voices and foibles of celebrities; here he brings them together around the same table to sketch the news and its personalities, between last-minute quips and routines adapted day by day. You will find his gallery of impressions, from the classics to the new faces making the headlines, driven by writing that stays close to current events. Quick shifts from one character to another, changes of register, musical interludes and topical barbs compose a multi-act performance. On the programme: observational humour, vocal caricatures and a precise take on what animates public life, television and cinema.
