Revealed to the general public by Star Academy, Charles Doré has been charting his path with a direct French pop, carried by a deep and highly expressive voice. In his songs, from Je pars mais je reste to Si demain tout s’arrête, he embraces writing that is raw and intimate, where fragility never opposes intensity. Without formal training, he has built himself by instinct, with a taste for vocal-driven songs and clear refrains that recall his claimed influences, from Balavoine to Polnareff.
