Info
On September 22, 2027, at the Atlas Arena in Łódź, Jean-Michel Jarre returns with the Oxygene & Beyond Tour, which takes on his most recognizable language: long, instrumental forms built from synthesizer layers and recurring motifs. Oxygène is the starting point, but Jarre always thinks more broadly: from floating ambient spaces to rhythmic, minimalist sequences known from Équinoxe or Les Chants Magnétiques. Live, these pieces gain heft and breath, and his sound remains at once cinematic and surprisingly concrete.
This is also a meeting with an artist who for decades has steered electronics toward spectacle and new technologies. Jarre blends classic analog associations with samples, the dance-pulsation of the 80s and 90s, and a newer, contemporary approach from the Electronica era, where collaboration and work with imagery are as important as melody. In Łódź, a set awaits that binds the past to what lies ahead, without a museum-like tone.
