Info
On September 17, 2027, Sivert Høyem will perform at Patronaat in Haarlem, with a set that beautifully places his Madrugada past and his solo work in a natural continuation. Those who know him as Madrugada's distinctive voice know: this is about dark alt-rock, tight guitars, and ballads that unfold slowly and linger long. That same nocturnal mood he brings to his solo performance, but with more room for restrained arrangements and melodies that can lean toward folk and Americana. Live, Høyem likes to work with contrast: stillness against a rock edge, a simple phrase that suddenly sounds grand. Do not expect embellishments, but songs that rely on lyrics, timing, and that deep, direct voice you trust. In Haarlem, it all comes together: an evening for those who love melancholia with backbone, somewhere between indie rock and slow-burning storytelling.
