Info
On January 16, 2027, Purity Ring take over Fortune Sound Club in Vancouver for a DJ set that shifts their world from stage performance to full-on club mode. The Edmonton duo, built around vocalist Megan James and producer Corin Roddick, is known for that balance between airy, processed vocals and beats that borrow as much from hip-hop swing as from synthpop drive.
Expect their signature palette to translate into a mix where dreamy electropop, R&B-tinted electronics and darker edges can sit in the same breath. From the early impact of “Ungirthed” and the sharp, melodic pulse of Shrines, through the more direct glow of Another Eternity, to the intimate, spectral zones of WOMB and the Graves EP, their catalogue is basically a toolkit for late-night tension and release. In a DJ format, that tension can open up: more room for unexpected turns, for bass to hit harder, and for their atmosphere to stretch across the dancefloor without losing the emotional thread.
