Info
Rowena Wise lands in Birmingham for a show at The Sunflower Lounge on March 6, 2027, bringing her sharp, intimate songwriting to the stage. Based in Naarm/Melbourne and raised in Margaret River, she writes with a knack for mixing beauty and mess without smoothing the edges, leaning on 60s folk-style storytelling but keeping it rooted in indie rock, garage pop and alt-folk.
Since her 2018 debut she’s built a serious live reputation on the road across Australia, the UK, Europe and North America, while her first album Senseless Acts of Beauty (2024) pushed her sound into carefully detailed indie-folk territory. This gig is a chance to hear songs that sit close to the bone, and to catch the next chapter too, with her second album Bad Things Feel Good shaped around transformation and produced by Rob Muinos.
