Info
Alex Henry Foster is a Canadian musician, author, producer, and composer, and the former lead singer of the band Your Favorite Enemies, nominated for the Juno Awards in the post-rock/noise category. Described as an unexpectedly DIY artist by Rolling Stone magazine, Alex Henry Foster has established himself as an immersive live performer, renowned for turning his concerts into intense and unpredictable emotional experiences. Supported by The Long Shadows, his performances blend expansive post-rock soundscapes, improvisation, raw vulnerability, and cathartic intensity, creating an atmosphere that many describe as closer to a spiritual event than to a traditional concert. An evening with the music of Alex Henry Foster & The Long Shadows at the Nouveau Casino is an immersive, intimate, hypnotic, and intense experience, at the crossroads of post-rock, gothic rock, ambient experimentation, and emotional surrender. “Swans, Radiohead or Nick Cave? And if we could combine the outcomes of their music? Then we'd have Alex Henry Foster.” — Radio Trojka (Poland) “Sonic Youth meets Slint at a party organized by Mogwai.” — Silent Radio (United Kingdom)
