Info
Alan Doyle brings his Already Dancing Tour to Kingston Grand Theatre in Kingston on March 18, 2027, with the kind of show that leans into community, choruses you can jump into, and that unmistakable maritime pulse. Best known as the voice, guitarist, and main songwriter behind Great Big Sea, he’s spent years turning traditional Atlantic Canada and Celtic-tinged folk into something built for big rooms and loud singalongs.
On his own, Doyle keeps that energy while widening the picture: songs drawn from coastal life, storytelling details that stick, and arrangements that move easily from acoustic moments to more rock-leaning drive. Expect a set that pulls from his solo run, from Boy on Bridge through So Let’s Go and A Week at the Warehouse, with that call-and-response spirit always close by. It’s a night for anyone who likes their folk contemporary, warm, and made to be shared.
