Info
Hang Massive return to the road with a new chapter in the works, bringing their evolving live show to Boiler Shop in Newcastle upon Tyne on 31 May 2027. After wrapping up their Beyond the Horizon tour, the duo step into a fresh cycle built around brand-new material, shaped in parallel with an upcoming album.
For more than fifteen years, Danny Cudd and Markus “Offbeat” Johansson have pushed the handpan beyond its usual frame, turning two instruments into a full-spectrum set. On stage, their playing leans into pulse and repetition, letting long resonances overlap until the rhythm feels physical. Around those handpan patterns, they weave electronic textures and additional live instrumentation, expanding the sound from intimate, meditative passages to wider, cinematic swells. Expect a performance that’s less about songs and more about flow: evolving motifs, tight interlocking parts, and an immersive visual dimension that ties the whole journey together.
