On April 30, 2027, Sammy Rae & The Friends land at O2 Forum Kentish Town in London with that “get down” spirit that suits them so well. Built around singer-songwriter Samantha “Sammy Rae” Bowers, the Brooklyn collective has been mixing jazz-pop, soul, funk, rock, and a touch of folk since 2016, with a real sense of band chemistry: punchy horn lines, tight rhythm section, keys, and those choir-like refrains that make the songs hit as a group.
On stage, their pop-driven songwriting meets R&B roots and a storyteller’s touch, shaped through releases like The Good Life and Let’s Throw a Party, then sharpened on the road with The If It All Goes South Tour (Live). With the studio album Something For Everybody and the covers project Songs We Wish We Wrote in the background, this London date promises a set built for movement, sing-alongs, and that big-ensemble rush.
