Info
On March 18, 2027, Bonobo will bring Distance In Static to Vienna’s Raiffeisen Halle. The project is led by Simon Green, who for years has been refining a sound that fuses electronic beats with warm, organic colors: downtempo, trip-hop and nu-jazz meet acoustic arrangements, strings, brass, and soulful details. His tracks live on smooth rhythms and deep bass, complemented by melodies that carry rather than push.
Live, Bonobo moves between a concert format featuring musicians and vocalists and a club-like DJ energy, depending on the setup, with a clear emphasis on flow and dynamism. Those familiar with albums like Black Sands, The North Borders, or the newer, more openly produced Migration and Fragments can expect a Vienna set that is finely balanced: mind off, rhythm on, but with enough depth to avoid turning it into mere functionality.
