Info
On October 2, 2026, The Biltmore Theatre in Oshawa hosts a night built around two key voices from the Hieroglyphics universe: Casual and Pep Love. Coming out of the Oakland collective known for its independent spirit and tight crew chemistry, their sets are all about classic West Coast underground rap energy: boom-bap foundations, soul and jazz-leaning loops, and that careful attention to internal rhymes and flow patterns. Expect sharp writing, quick switches in cadence, and the kind of stage presence that feels like a cypher brought to life, with nods to the Bay Area imagery and the forward-thinking approach that helped Hieroglyphics stand apart from the mainstream wave.
They’re joined by Canadian MCs Asun Eastwood and Daniel Son, adding local weight and a different angle to the lineup, making this show at The Biltmore Theatre in Oshawa on October 2, 2026 a meeting point between an influential U.S. underground legacy and today’s homegrown rap voices.
