Grouper is Liz Harris’s recording and performing project, where songs and sound feel like they’re made in the same breath. On 19 November 2026 at Cafe OTO in London, she brings that unique blend of ambient drift, slowcore patience and folk songwriting, with voice, piano and guitar often dissolving into soft textures rather than sitting on top of them. It’s music built on close listening: small melodic turns, quiet harmonies, and that hazy edge where the song form stays present but never fully sharp.
This second night also opens with a live set from Coby Sey, whose presence sets the tone for an evening shaped by space, restraint and detail, where atmosphere matters as much as melody.
