On March 16, 2027, at ED&N - Espace Dollfus & Noack in Sausheim, Marc Lavoine presents a tighter format with "Dans la Peau", accompanied at the piano by Alain Lanty. Far from the large-scale pop-tour arrangement, the idea is to return to the voice, the lyrics and the melody, in a closeness that sits well with his repertoire.
Since "Les yeux revolver" and his early days in the mid-1980s, Lavoine has carved out a singular place in French song, between a somewhat dark romanticism, elegance and a sense of phrasing. On stage, this voice-piano duo foregrounds interpretation, the nuances, and also the silences, and gives new depth to titles that have become familiar. An encounter to hear differently a singer who has always navigated between music and storytelling.
