Mad Tsai lands in Milan with The Bite Back Tour, on September 19, 2026 at Santeria Toscana 31. Behind this project is Jonathan Tsai, a Californian songwriter who moves between alt-pop, bedroom pop and indie pop, with a taste for concise formats, catchy melodies and lyrics that get straight to the point.
Since coming to attention in 2020 thanks to tracks shared online, he has crafted a generation-defining pop sound, in which he speaks plainly about relationships, identity and sexuality, often with a dry sense of humor and well-placed irony. On stage, this blend of crisp pop choruses, light production and occasional tensions leaning more toward rock or electronic music is evident, in the vein of tracks like Boy Bi, Heartbreak Honeymoon, or Stacy's Brother.
