The excuse is obvious: for the 50th anniversary of Never Mind the Bollocks, Barbey and the university are joining forces to celebrate the punk movement, from its nebulous birth to its putative heritage. Kick de Strychnine, Heartbeeps, Violent Sadie Mode: the evening offers a retrospective of the punk scene from Bordeaux.
To introduce the concert, veterans and heirs and heiresses will gather around a table to discuss memories and transmission, the past and (no) future. This evening at Rock School Barbey will close a three-day scientific event organized by the University of Bordeaux Montaigne around punk culture.
