Nu Genea brings its Live Band back home to Naples for a date on September 11, 2026 at the Arena Flegrea. Born in the city, the duo formed by Massimo Di Lena and Lucio Aquilina built their identity by linking club culture to a more organic writing, carried by percussion, bass lines, keyboards and voices in Italian or Neapolitan. Long known under the name Nu Guinea, the project has been refined through the records, from Nuova Napoli to Bar Mediterraneo, via Marechià, to develop a groove that navigates between disco, boogie, afrobeat, jazz-funk and Mediterranean colors.
On stage, the Live Band format further widens the frame: music designed for dancing, but performed like a real concert, with the energy of the collective and the attention to detail. After touring festivals and clubs around the world, Nu Genea returns to Naples for a set announced with guests and surprises, in a format that makes room for rhythm as much as for arrangements.
