If it’s heavy riffs and catchy hooks you’re after, Melrose Avenue have been turning heads fast. The Sydney metalcore band only started making noise in 2022, but their mix of bruising guitars, big melodic choruses and emotionally direct lyrics quickly found its crowd. A lot of that momentum came from a strong online presence, where their clips spread fast and helped them build a massive international community long before most people had even seen them onstage.
That buzz wasn’t just hype: in 2024, US label Hopeless Records signed them while they still hadn’t played a single live show, a pretty telling move for a new band. Since then, tracks like “Fool & The Beggar”, “Suffering” or “Reflections” have stacked up millions of streams and kept pushing their sound into a wider spotlight, including regular plays on Octane (SiriusXM).
